How to get position of QCheckBox and update it?
In PyQt5 the following works as expected:
self.checkbox.setText("")
However, I can't seem to get the position of the QCheckBox so that I can re-position it.
I've tried:
self.checkbox.setStyleSheet("font-size: 24pt; font-weight: normal; top: 0; left: 1000;")
and
self.checkbox.setStyleSheet("top: 1mm; left: 1mm;")
with no luck.
I'm not quite sure how to implement the logic of getting the position of the QCheckBox.

You need to call getRect() to get the rectangle of the checkbox. Then just call setGeometry() on it. The QCheckBox does not have a geometry (unless it's a QGroupBox), so you need to set it manually.

pos = self.checkbox.pos() # Returns a tuple of (x,y)
pos.x = 500 # Just set the position
self.checkbox.setGeometry(pos)
